Gergő Nagy
Cloud Engineer
I am Gergő Nagy, a member of the CodeFactory Cloud Engineering team since 2025. My main focus is designing and managing scalable and secure AWS infrastructures using an Infrastructure as Code approach, primarily with OpenTofu and Terragrunt.
In my daily work I place strong emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code practices. I use OpenTofu and Terragrunt to manage environments consistently, and I have also gained experience with alternative IaC approaches such as Atmos and Pulumi. I also work with Kubernetes and participated in a GitOps focused project using ArgoCD and Kargo to manage deployment workflows.
I have worked on several AI focused projects where I contributed to building agentic AI and workflow systems using MCP, OpenAI, and Ollama SDKs. I have also implemented similar solutions with AWS native services including Step Functions, Bedrock, and Lambda.
I studied Full Stack development with a DevOps focus including Java, the MERN stack, and Terraform. This background helps me understand cloud based systems not only from an infrastructure perspective but also from the application side.
Earlier in my career I worked with 3D modeling, CNC programming, manufacturing design, and 3D scanning for sculptural and building survey projects. This engineering background shaped my interest in complex systems and a precise solution oriented mindset today.
